About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned, strategicCopywriter to help us bring the Hurtigruten brand and our travel experiences to life across digital platforms. This is not just about writing --- it’s about storytelling, inspiring discovery, and connecting with audiences through authentic, brand-rich, and SEO-optimized content.

You’ll collaborate across creative, marketing, and digital teams to craft copy that elevates our voice, delivers results, and captures the essence of our journeys through Norway and beyond.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Craft compelling, brand-aligned content for web pages, editorial articles, product descriptions, and campaign assets.

• Write and optimize SEO-driven content to maximize performance across search engines.

• Interpret briefs into effective copy solutions, balancing creativity with clarity.

• Partner with designers, video editors, and marketers to ensure cohesive messaging across channels.

• Maintain and evolve our brand tone of voice, ensuring consistency across all content.

• Proofread and review content to uphold high standards of accuracy and alignment.

• Contribute to the content strategy, mapping content to the customer journey and supporting broader marketing goals.

• Support editorial calendar planning and creative ideation for new campaigns and initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to enhance content effectiveness through storytelling, structure, or messaging shifts.

Skills & Experience Required

• Native-level English (written and spoken) is required.

• Strong command of Norwegian is a significant advantage, enabling authentic understanding of geography, culture, and tone.

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Copywriter in a digital-first, brand-focused environment.

• Portfolio that demonstrates strong SEO optimisation skills, clear messaging, and creativity across formats.

• Deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and content performance metrics.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with sharp attention to detail.

• Ability to turn complex or abstract ideas into clear, audience-relevant content.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global setting.

• Familiarity with Norwegian geography and culture is a plus -- authenticity matters in our storytelling.
