As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development and integration of automation systems across several project phases. In this role, you will be involved in system design, preparation of SAS documentation, supplier follow‑up, testing activities and close collaboration with multidiscipline engineering teams.
About the positionIn this role, you will work with system design and integration within SAS (Safety and Automation Systems), ensuring high‑quality technical solutions across study and execution phases. You will prepare key automation deliverables such as SCDs, C&E diagrams and functional descriptions, and collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to align technical interfaces and project requirements. The position involves direct follow‑up of vendors, participation in FAT and other test activities, as well as contributing to safe and efficient implementation of automation solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Experience with SAS, system design and/or instrumentation is an advantage

Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering environments

Good communication skills in English, both oral and written (Norwegian is an advantage)
