Our Propulsion & Handling division ensures that we deliver reliable and robust solutions for our customers. For our Thruster Systems, we are seeking a Motor Design Verification Engineer with solid experience in electric motor design, including qualification and validation. In this role, you will act as the key enabler and integrator across multiple engineering disciplines, securing our deliverables are optimized and have reliable motor performance.

- Shape the future of maritime propulsion by developing and supporting next-generation motor technology as part of a highly skilled, international multidisciplinary team.
- Take part in technical design for in-house motor development.
- Validate electric motor designs from suppliers and development partners.
- Follow up production activities both internally and with external partners.
- Work with a strong focus on electromagnetic design and thermal analysis.
- Master degree or higher within Electric Power Engineering or similar studies
- Strong experience within electric motor cad tools.
- Preferable experience from maritime business.
- Experience within Power System Architecture & Electrical Product configuration.
- Knowledge about motor & generators based on permanent magnet technology, conventional asynchronous & synchronous motor technology.
- Experience with use of Matlab & Phyton programming.
