Claims Executive/Senior Claims Executive

Due to continued growth, Skuld is now looking to strengthen our claims team in the Skuld Western Europe Business Unit in Oslo.

Your responsibilities

In this position you will:

• Handle claims across all aspects of P&I operations, with focus on bulk and liquid cargoes for both Owners and Charterers.
• Work on a varied range of P&I and FD&D claims
• Build strong relations with Members, Clients and Brokers
• Promote Skuld in the market and participate in marketing efforts
• Contribute with articles for Skuld publications and present to the team, Members, Clients and Brokers
• Suggest and initiate loss prevention measures
• Continuously observe and report developing claims trends, monitor legal and regulatory developments and relevant industry activities
• Contribute to a friendly, open, and trusting work environment

Qualifications

• Legal background (preferably English or Norwegian law) and/or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in marine claims handling
• Ability to handle cases of high complexity
• Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written
