RIB boat driver applications:

• D5L certificate to operate a recreational boat with a hull length of 15 meter

• Documented knowledge/approved courses within first aid and rescue.

• Completed basic first aid course in the last 2 years.

• You like people and are a good pedagogue

• Good language skills: Norwegian and English (fluent)

• You must enjoy and have great knowledge of being outdoor in all weather conditions

• You must be a responsible and social person that likes challenges

Arbeidsoppgaver

As a Driver and Guide for our fjord safari tours at Trolltunga Active, you will be delivering an unforgettable experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to safely navigate the RIB boats through the stunning landscapes of the Hardangerfjord, ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers on board.

Before setting off, you will conduct a thorough safety briefing, explaining essential safety protocols and equipment usage to prepare guests for the adventure ahead. Once on the water, you will engage guests with informative and captivating commentary about the fjord's unique geography, rich history, and diverse ecology, fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty surrounding them.

Your role extends beyond navigation and commentary; you will be the welcoming face of our company, creating a friendly atmosphere that makes guests feel valued and at ease. You will also oversee the maintenance and safety checks of the boat and equipment, ensuring everything is in perfect condition for each tour.

In addition to managing the excitement of the tour, you will be prepared to handle any emergencies or unexpected situations, following established safety protocols to protect everyone on board. After each tour, you will assist with unloading and cleaning the boat, preparing it for the next group while promoting responsible tourism practices and educating guests about the importance of preserving the fjord environment.
