Production Engineer

Contract period: 01/02/2026 - 31/01/2027
Location: Bergen, Stavanger, Stjørdal/Trondheim, or Oslo

Tasks and responsibilities

• Perform production technical deliveries to field development and modification projects.

• Responsible for ensuring integration of relevant subsurface and topside data with the aim of optimizing production and well completion solutions

• Perform well and network hydraulics

• Perform well productivity and inflow control analysis

• Perform planning of wells, completion design

• Give sand management input to field development or modifications projects

• Analyse and integrate production data across the value chain, evaluate and communicate risk and uncertainties.

• Contribute in multidisciplinary teams to integrate production data with other subsurface data for mapping, target identification, reservoir characterization and well planning.

Qualifications

• BSc. in relevant engineering field and 2+ years’ relevant experience with similar tasks on the NCS, ora MSc. in relevant engineering field.

• Safety mindset

• Good knowledge and understanding of Production Technology is required.

• Good communication and collaboration skills are required

• Experience from Subsurface/Petech teams in operation, field development projects is an advantage

• Business understanding and commercial mindset guiding technical decision-making.

• Flexible according to business needs

• Ability to multitask

• Full professional proficiency in English and Norwegian.
