We are seeking a Security and Emergency Preparedness Advisor to support our global operations in Odfjell Technology and Odfjell Drilling through a risk-based and integrated approach to security, emergency preparedness, and organisational resilience across onshore and offshore operations.

Our ideal candidate has a genuine interest in Security, Emergency Preparedness and Crisis Management. Candidates should be flexible, thrive on high levels of activity, and work effectively across disciplines.

Due to close interaction with Norwegian-based operations, authorities, and internal stakeholders, fluency in Norwegian and residence in the Bergen area are mandatory.

Job Description / Work Tasks
  • Assist with all Security and Emergency Preparedness tasks within Odfjell Technology, Odfjell Drilling and Odfjell Oceanwind
  • Perform risk assessments related to security and emergency preparedness, including foreign establishments and travel abroad
  • Ensure that contingency plans are established in all regions where the company operates
  • Perform audits, inspections and investigations within ISPS, Security and Emergency Preparedness
  • Maintain processes and procedures related to security and emergency preparedness offshore and onshore
  • Organise Emergency Preparedness exercises and tabletops
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree within Risk, Safety, Security or Nautical studies (Relevant experience may compensate for formal education)
  • Good Norwegian and English language skills (written & verbal)
  • Competence and experience from similar positions
  • Offshore health certificate
You Have/are
  • Able to travel offshore; domestic and international
  • Competence in risk assessment methods and investigations
  • Lead Auditor or Audit team member competence
  • High level of organisational, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
