At Finago, we’re building a shared, modern product platform for finance, payroll, and HR used by customers across the Nordics. To support our continued growth, we’re now looking for a Senior Software Developer to join one of our autonomous product teams.

Your mission? 🚀

As a Senior Software Developer at Finago, you will be a key contributor in a product team with full responsibility for its part of the solution; from idea and development to production and operations. You’ll work closely with your teammates to build reliable, scalable systems that customers depend on every day.

💡Your key tasks and responsibilities include:

Developing robust, scalable backend services and APIs

Contributing to technical design decisions and architectural discussions within the team

Writing high-quality code with strong test coverage and a focus on security

Actively participating in code reviews and technical discussions

• Continuously improving development processes, tools, and workflows

We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer who enjoys taking responsibility and thinking beyond individual tasks. To succeed in this role, we believe you:

Have 8+ years of experience as a software developer, with strong backend
expertise

Enjoy understanding how systems fit together, not just solving isolated tickets

Take ownership of quality, stability, and long-term maintainability

Share knowledge, give constructive feedback, and contribute positively to the team

Are comfortable working in both Norwegian and English

Experience with AI-assisted development tools, integrations, or building AI-enabled features is considered a plus

🛠️Depending on the product, you’ll work with technologies such as:

TypeScript / Node.js, C# .NET, Go

Relational databases and NoSQL

Microservices and distributed systems

Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern DevOps tooling

Cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
