We are seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team within Customer Journeys in Bedriftsmarked Norge.

Customer Journeys is a section of skilled, likeable and energetic product managers, business developers and engineers who create and operate some of our most important customer solutions in Bedriftsmarked Norge. This includes onboarding, customer lifecycle management, KYC and DNB accounting. We have the corporate group responsibility for DNB's KYC applications and lead our digital transformation within the highly important KYC area.

We seek a new Head of Department and Engineering manager to lead our team of engineers in Bergen. Join us to support our journey to provide more customer friendly, sustainable and innovative solutions for DNB.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of highly skilled engineers to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results.
• Develop and execute a strategic engineering roadmap aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Recruitment and sourcing of engineers in a growing team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and product excellence. Cooperation with external IT-partners.
• Oversee timelines, cost and manage capacity/ resources to ensure successful team execution.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, nurturing the growth and career progression of your team members.
• Provide technical guidance and insights, utilizing your engineering background to make informed decisions.
• Assume the IT governance role of "IT responsible" for our applications, and make sure that the team delivers in accordance with DNB's IT Operating model.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in engineering management or leadership. Strong technical background is an advantage.
• Ability to navigate the space between business and tech and experience with agile developement.
• Good understanding technology, systems, architecture and IT processes.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (master's preferred).

• Strategic mindset, strong problem solver able to work across multiple domains, but careful to details when necessary.
