Shape the core of a business-critical platform

Instech Solutions has been developing software for the marine and energy insurance industry for nearly 30 years. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Norwegian Hull Club, we combine long-term industry knowledge with technological ambition and financial stability.

Now, we are building and evolving our next-generation cloud-based core platform - a long-term investment designed to support professional players across the global marine and energy insurance industry. To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who wants to play an important role in shaping how our platform develops in the years ahead.

The position is based at our office in Bergen and is not a remote role. We value close collaboration and believe that strong technical environments are built through daily interaction and shared presence.

What you will work with

You will work across the stack with:

• .NET and C# on the backend
• Blazor and React on the frontend
• Azure services such as App Services, Cosmos DB and Azure SQL
• REST APIs and event-driven flows using Service Bus
• CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub

We work in a Kanban-based setup where ownership is real, collaboration is close, and quality is prioritized over shortcuts. Architecture discussions are open, and your experience and judgement will influence how we build sustainable solutions for the future.

What we are looking for

We're looking for a senior developer with solid experience from modern web platforms and cloud environments. You may not know every technology in our stack - that's fine. What matters most is that you bring:

• Strong technical depth and architectural understanding
• An end-to-end perspective on design, implementation and operations
• Sound judgement and the ability to balance speed with long-term maintainability
• A structured and quality-oriented mindset

Experience from business-critical systems or domains where accuracy and reliability matter is considered an advantage.
