Are you passionate about building robust, secure, and innovative solutions and excited by the possibilities of AI and data-driven development? Our Customer and KYC section is looking for a Senior Backend-heavy Fullstack Developer to join our cross-functional DevOps teams. You will play a key role in developing and evolving essential banking services within customer onboarding and offboarding --- areas that are critical to security, regulatory compliance, and customer trust.

Customer & KYC is part of DNB's personal market. We are organized into three BizDevOps teams and one business side team. We build and maintain the digital solutions that support customer onboarding, customer lifecycle management, and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, ensuring that complex, compliance heavy processes are as simple, secure, and user friendly as possible for our customers.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Developer, you will take responsibility for designing and evolving robust features across backend and frontend, powering our mobile and web services end-to-end. Reviewing and resolving incidents will also be a part of your normal workflow. You will collaborate closely with other developers, designers, and product owners to deliver new features and ensure seamless customer experiences.

You see clear value in being physically present and working closely with the team, as day‑to‑day collaboration, shared problem‑solving, and face‑to‑face dialogue lead to better alignment, higher quality, and faster learning.

What kind of developer are we looking for?

We are looking for a senior developer who combines technical expertise with responsibility and the ability to get things done. You're able to adapt to changing priorities, challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to the team. You excel in technical conversations and simplify complex issues for others. You have a strong product mindset and understand how your work impacts the end user. You're eager to share knowledge with the team, and equally open to learning from others.

Your knowledge and skills

• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer, with professional knowledge of Kotlin and AWS
• Experience as a frontend developer, with professional knowledge of React. You know how to build APIs for frontend use and have a strong understanding of the integration between frontend and backend
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub, and a DevOps way of thinking
• Experience with security best practices and robust system design
• Experience with automation and data-driven development is a strong plus
• Experience with AI technologies is a plus
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal; Norwegian is a plus
• Relevant higher education, or equivalent experience
