Senior Advisor - Donor Reporting

The Red Cross is looking for a dynamic Senior advisor - Donor Reporting based in its National office in Oslo. 

This is a permanent position, which enables the Red Cross to communicate its international results to the partners and the public. the position will be responsible for writing several grants reports, Developing communication and visibility products and support the resource mobilisation teamin application development and editing when needed. Candidates should be able to handle autonomously a complex workload involving coordination with the red cross offices abroad. Candidates should be fluent in English and Norwegian.

The position reports to the head of Partnerships and Resource mobilisation.

 

 

      

In the position you will

- Be responsible for writing several grants annual, interim or final reports
- Develop audio visual and digital communication products with relevant resources in KOS and IPP
- Support the writing of results reports to EU/ECHO and other donors’ grants, which are not included in the Global grants reporting
- Ensure application of relevant work processes and ensure coordination and alignment with other reporting processes
- Support the development of relevant tools and templates including communication and training materials
- Support the digitalisation efforts of NoRC in relevant areas
- Explore the feasibility of AI use in reporting and support its application as relevant - Support the resource mobilisation team efforts in application development and editing when needed

Qualifications

Formal competence: 

-Higher education at master level within relevant field preferably within journalism or communication - a lack of education might be mitigated be extensive experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

- Basic knowledge of Red Cross Movement
- Able to work abroad for extensive periods (up to three months)
- 3-year experience from relevant field.
- Fluency in English and Norwegian
- Excellent track record from writing reports, news stories and/or analysis in English and Norwegian covering complex topics
- Proven ability to coordinate complex writing processes
- Proficiency in MS office package - AI understanding is an asset
