Clarion Hotel The Hubis looking for a talented, creative and experienced Sous Chef Pastry . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of baking techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for crafting beautiful and delicious pastries. As a key member of our culinary staff, you'll be preparing delicious, high-quality pastries, contributing to menu development, and ensuring food is presented at its best.
What you'll do:- Develop and prepare a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Ensure consistency and quality of all pastry items
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control
- Keep good communication with the immediate manager and the rest of the team.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
This is a permanent position for 100% with a start date to be agreed upon. The position requires working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
You´ll shine here if you are:- Experienced from culinary education, formal training or bakery experience.
- Able to ensure the quality of every dish served, consistently adhering to presentation standards.
- Flexible and reliable, with a passion for creating great pastries and experiences.
Comfortable multi-tasking and making decisions independently.
- Detailed track record of previous achievements within the culinary art of pastries.
- Turning challenges into opportunities, managing multiple tasks, and keeping high standards, even when things get tough.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Seeking a candidate with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members , while ensuring the effective delivery of projects and tasks.
