As a guide for Lofoten Lights, you will be the face of our company. Your job is to provide interesting, motivating, inspiring experiences for guests from all over the world.

The ideal candidate:

• we are looking for a seasonal tour guide who has already experience in the field.

• Interpersonal Excellence: a person with outstanding communication skills and a friendly outgoing personality.

• Storytelling skills: we are looking for a guide who is willing to share insights about the history, culture, and nature of the Lofoten islands.

• outgoing, patient, and problem solver.

• Driving license class B.

• Multilingualism: you have to master perfectly English. Additional languages will be prioritized, especially Italian.

• Resilience & Adaptability: must be highly resilient, capable of working under stress during the pic season and adapting to possible changing weather conditions and schedule.

• Comfortable working outdoors in winter and during unconventional hours (night shifts for Auroras)

• willing to adjust their availability to meet operational needs.

• Photography skills are mandatory.

  
  

Arbeidsoppgaver

As a Lofoten Lights' guide, you will be asked to:

• meet our customers at the designed pickup location.

• drive them around Lofoten (based on the itinerary) by 8 -seat minivan.

• engage with customers about history, culture and daily life of the archipelago.

• take photos of the landscape, customers and the northern lights.
