EIT Field Engineer (Construction)

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractors' performance to ensure EIT installation work is carried out safely and according to specifications.
• Provide EIT expertise and support to the site team and contractor disciplines.
• Act as an HSSE ambassador, participating in tool-box talks and safety meetings.
• Monitor and attend Mechanical Completion activities.
• Assist the contractor in resolving technical problems during installation work.
• Review site-specific procedures and participate in constructability reviews.
• Liaise with QC inspectors and discipline engineers to ensure construction aligns with project design.
• Participate in EIT Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and witness checkpoints.
• Contribute to weekly reporting, lessons learned, and project close-out.

Required expertise

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience from similar oil & gas projects.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of Norsok and IEC design and fabrication for EIT.
• Familiarity with Atex regulations, checklists, certificates, and registers.
• Knowledge of relevant project documents, standards, and specifications.
• Experience from Norwegian Oil & Gas projects is highly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with PIMS is an advantage.

Language: English

Location: Stord, Norway, with some offshore work required

Work schedule: Full-time

Duration: Temporary assignment from March 2026 to May 2026
