Frontend Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated Front-End Engineer to join our development team. You strive to develop well-functioning frontends with a great user experience with code that is easy to understand and maintain. You enjoy collaborating with designers, product owners and fellow engineers to transform ideas into high-quality products. You take pride in your work, and desire to work together with the rest of the team to build solutions that are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.

In this role, you will work both on developing new functionality and help maintaining, refactoring and modernizing an existing codebase. 

• Knowledge of HTML/JavaScript and modern web browser APIs, as well as experience supporting a wide range of browsers and devices.
• Experience with React and associated modern web client development practices.
• Experience with using TypeScript.
• Experience with CSS and/or CSS-in-JS styling systems.
• Familiarity with UI/UX concerns and implementing systems conforming to accessibility requirements.
• Experience with using Git for collaborative workflows.
• Familiarity with automatically testable frontends.
• Familiarity with both server-generated pages as well as modern SPAs (API-driven frontend applications) is a plus.
• Some experience with PHP for server-generated pages is a plus.
