About the role

We are looking for an experienced PIMS PES Configuration Engineer to join the team in Stord. You will be responsible for configuring, managing, and supporting the PIMS PES system throughout the project lifecycle. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate workflow setup, data quality, system usability, and cross-disciplinary alignment across engineering, construction, completion, and pre-operations.

This is a hands-on role in which you will serve as the project’s internal PIMS PES authority, providing support, training, and guidance to stakeholders both onshore and offshore.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and maintain the PIMS PES system, acting as the on-site PIMS PES authority when needed.
• Set up and adjust workflows within relevant PIMS PES modules.
• Ensure correct data input, role implementation, and position type configuration across PIMS PES modules.
• Serve as an internal support function for all PIMS PES-related inquiries.
• Conduct and support PIMS PES training across project teams and collaborating companies.
• Monitor and verify interfaces between PIMS CMS and contractor systems at site.
• Participate in end-user testing and ensure hands-on configuration during implementation.
• Provide strong stakeholder support across completion, MC, engineering, construction, and pre-operations.
• Maintain high ethical standards and contribute to a strong HSE culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent technical education/experience.
• Extensive experience and strong expertise with PIMS PES (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of project execution phases and data/system integration across disciplines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Norwegian.
