We are now looking for an ambitious and passionate head chef to lead our kitchen team and help shape our culinary journey. Previous head chef experience is not required, we are looking for a professional chef that is ready for the next step in their career and lead a small kitchen team.

We are seeking someone who:

• Has professional kitchen experience

• Is passionate about food and enjoys creating memorable guests experiences

• Is organized, reliable and solution-oriented

• Has strong leadership and communication skills

• Works well with sudden changes

• Has good knowledge of food safety and kitchen management

• Speaks English

Arbeidsoppgaver

As our head chef you will have overall responsibility for the daily operation of the kitchen. You will lead and inspire a small kitchen team while ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Our guests enjoy freshly prepared a la carte meals delivered directly to their accommodation, allowing them to experience exceptional food while enjoying the arctic surroundings from the comfort of their accommodation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and developing seasonal menus

• Leading, training and motivating the kitchen team

• Maintaining food quality and presentation standards

• Ordering supplies and working closely with suppliers

• Ensuring hygiene and food safety regulations are being followed

• Contributing to a positive and professional work environment
