This is a key leadership position responsible for expanding DeepOcean’s market presence, strengthening key account relationships, and ensuring the renewables offering is aligned with customer needs, market developments, and tender opportunities.

Location: Aberdeen, Haugesund, Oslo, Stavanger or Haarlem.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Leverage market and client insight to shape commercial strategy, service development, and growth priorities.
  • Shape and deliver competitive commercial, pricing, and tender strategies in close collaboration with the Renewables Commercial Director.
  • Develop partnership models and commercial approaches that enhance competitiveness and enable market entry and growth.
  • Collaborate with Technology and other internal stakeholders to align service offerings with market needs and future opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Relevant higher education within business, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience from business development, commercial roles, or sales within offshore renewables or related subsea, marine, or energy sectors.
  • Proven track record of originating, positioning, and winning complex, high-value contracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience with pricing strategies, tendering, and contract negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of offshore renewables markets and commercial drivers.
  • Ability to build strategic client relationships and influence senior stakeholders, combined with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach and high drive.

Our values are important to us, and we are looking for people who identify with them. We ACT with a can-do attitude, the courage to embrace challenges, challenge unsafe practices, and the commitment to always work as one team.
