Instrument - Senior Engineer Stavanger

Responsibilities

• Participate in required site follow-up for procurement packages.
• Ensure final documentation for the scope of work is delivered on schedule.
• Guarantee that work is performed according to relevant instructions, procedures, and contract specifications.
• Produce new documentation and drawings, including loop drawings, IS Loop Calculations, and installation work packages.
• Manage the ordering of all instrument materials required for offshore installation.

Required expertise

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-10 years of experience in offshore-related projects (extensive relevant experience may compensate for formal education).
• Experience with modifications on operating offshore installations.
• Proficiency with industry standards such as NPD, ATEX, IEC61892, and Norsok.
• Experience in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and FEL (Front End Loading) studies.
• Knowledge of process and utility systems, including Control Systems, Fire & Gas, and safety systems.
• Familiarity with instrument and electrical equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
• Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical solutions in safety systems.
• Valid EX and FSE certifications are required.

Language: English

Location: Stavanger, with offshore work required

Work schedule: Full-time

Duration: Assignment from May 2026 to May 2028
