Join Zelluna Immunotherapy as Associate Scientist/Scientist

Zelluna Immunotherapy is an exciting and dynamic start-up based in Oslo specializing in T cell receptor (TCR) cell therapies, built around a distinctive scientific approach. The company is developing TCR-guided natural killer (TCR-NK) cells as an allogeneic, off-the-shelf cellular therapy for patients with solid tumors.

The first clinical trial, ZIMA-101, evaluating our TCR-NK product in ovarian cancer, squamous non-small cell lung cancer, synovial sarcoma, and head and neck cancer, was initiated in the second quarter of 2026.

We are now seeking an experienced cellular biologist or immunologist for a one-year temporary position to support the continued development and expansion of our TCR-NK pipeline. The ideal candidate is passionate about our approach, thrives in a fast-paced, continuously learning start-up environment, and is motivated to collaborate closely with a team dedicated to delivering on our shared mission.

• Under senior supervision, plan, initiate, and execute laboratory work to advance company objectives, meeting agreed timelines and milestones
• Isolate and culture human immune cells and perform functional T and NK cell assays
• Screen TCR candidates using in vitro assays to select the most specific and potent candidates for further in-depth analysis including flow cytometry and imaging based functional analysis
• Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality recording of all data and experimental information
• Adhere to established laboratory procedures and effectively utilize Zelluna’s internal quality system
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture characterized by engagement, enthusiasm, scientific rigor, and continuous improvement

• MSc with minimum 3 years of relevant experience or PhD in Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience in the following areas within the last three years:

• Isolation and expansion of primary T and/or NK cells, as well as primary cell and cell line culture
• Expertise in T and/or NK cell-based assays (e.g., ELISA, ELISpot, large panel flow cytometry, advanced cytotoxicity assays)
• Competency in molecular biology

• Experience with engineered cell systems preferred; industry experience is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to integrate and interpret data from multiple sources to drive scientific progress
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation standards
• Motivation to work in a start-up environment with a proactive, hands-on (“roll up your sleeves”) mindset
• Strong teamwork skills with a flexible and solution-oriented attitude
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
