We are seeking an experienced engineer to join and strengthen our Process department in Hammerfest.

As a process engineer with us, you will play a crucial role in developing process designs across various projects and contribute significantly to our exciting and growing portfolio.

About the position

In this position, you can hold various roles within the Process discipline. Be responsible for deliveries in the projects and work closely with other disciplines to achieve the project’s goals.

Responsibilities and tasks include
  • Perform and evaluate process simulations

  • Preliminary and detail process design

  • Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves and process equipment

  • Prepare P&IDs, line lists and design reports

  • Project work in multidiscipline teams

  • Lead group of process engineers

Qualifications
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in chemistry or process related Engineering

  • Good knowledge of rules and regulations for process in design

  • Good communication skills in English, both writing and speaking

Personal qualities
  • Be systematic and accurate

  • Have high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements

  • Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experience with others

  • Can work independently and lead discipline work

  • Enjoy collaborating in expert groups with multidisciplinary understanding
