We are now looking for skilled Commissioning Engineers to strengthen our team in Harstad and Hammerfest. This is an exciting opportunity to work across several project phases and play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality start‑ups in some of the most dynamic energy projects in the region.

About the position

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be central in ensuring that systems and equipment are delivered, tested, and started up according to technical requirements and operational needs. You will follow the commissioning scope from early study phases through execution and handover, working closely with project teams, suppliers, and clients.

Your role includes overseeing commissioning activities within your discipline, supporting MC verification and take‑over, participating in Factory Acceptance Tests, and contributing to a seamless handover from commissioning to operations. You will also provide guidance to colleagues and management, sharing expertise that strengthens both project delivery and team performance. This is a role for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment where quality, safety, and progress go hand‑in‑hand.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or Technical College education

  • Experience from a similar commissioning or project execution role

  • Familiarity with digital tools for technical follow‑up and documentation

  • Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English

  • Willingness to travel and work at different locations
