2 a la carte chefs with pizza making experience in Ålesund from January 2026

We are looking for an experienced à la carte chef who knows how to handle the whole cooking process from start to finish. Comfortable with prepping and cooking meat and fish (from different cuts to perfect doneness), making sauces using both classic and modern techniques, and putting together garnishes that not only taste great but look amazing too.

The restaurant has a rich a la carte menu, built on ideas from French cuisine, where methods, taste and consistency are in focus. There is a hectic and good working environment at the workplace.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years experience as an a la carte chef

• Pizza-making experience is required

• High-stress tolerance - a lot of work

• Quick and efficient

• Happy and positive attitude

• Good collaboration skills

• Able to help anywhere in the kitchen when needed

• English language is a must, double bonus if you can speak Norwegian

They are looking for a chefs who can work independently and in a team.

Working period: 05.01.2026 - 31.05.2026

Accommodation 3000 NOK/month per person. Own bedroom with a shared kitchen and bathroom near the workplace

Salary: 250.00 NOK/h

Average working hours is: 162.50 / month

The approximate salary with normal hours is: 250.00 162 12.00% = 45500.00 NOK before taxes (~25.00)

Salary additions

• Sunday addition 30.42 NOK/Hour

• Overtime addition 50.00 %

• Saturday addition 30.42 NOK/Hour

• Vacation addition 12.00 %

• Night time addition 56.02 NOK/Hour

• Evening time addition 16.01 NOK/Hour

• National holiday addition 100.00 %

Overtime and vacation money will be paid at the end of the contract.
