Tractor Driver -- Seasonal Position

We are looking for a skilled and reliable tractor driver to join our farm for the upcoming growing season. The primary responsibility of this role is tractor operation and transport of vegetables, combined with general farm work during peak periods.

About Holsfjord Produkter DA

Holsfjord Produkter DA is a modern vegetable farm located in Sylling, Lier, approximately 40 km west of Oslo. We produce a range of field-grown vegetables, including iceberg lettuce, Chinese cabbage, cauliflower, and kale. We focus on efficient production, continuous development, and maintaining a safe, structured, and positive working environment for our employees.

The role

This position consists mainly of tractor driving and logistics, with additional farm-related tasks when needed.

Primary responsibilities

• Transport freshly harvested vegetables from fields to cooling and storage facilities
• Tractor operation related to field logistics and production
• Safe loading, unloading, and transport of produce and equipment

Secondary responsibilities

• Soil preparation, planting, and cultivation
• Moving and handling irrigation equipment
• Participation in physical farm work such as planting and harvesting during peak periods
• General maintenance of farm machinery and equipment

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license: class T, BE, or C
• Proven experience driving tractors
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Flexible and willing to assist with various farm tasks when required
• Able to speak and understand English
• Strong work ethic and reliability

What we offer

• Salary: NOK 190--215 per hour (before tax), depending on experience and qualifications
• Overtime may occur during busy periods
• Employment conditions in accordance with Norwegian labor laws, including overtime compensation, holiday pay, pension scheme, and employee insurance
• Possibility of housing on the farm (private room)
• A friendly, structured, and collaborative work environment
• Seasonal employment from April to October, with duration and workload agreed individually
