TGI Friday's Oslo City (at Jernbanetorget) is looking for a driven and dedicated Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be a key player in the daily operations of one of the busiest and most exciting locations in the city, ensuring we deliver exceptional guest experiences, outstanding food, and a fun and energetic atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant.
Lead, inspire, and support a large team of staff to provide excellent service and maintain a positive working environment.
Handle staff scheduling, recruitment, and training to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
Manage inventory, ordering, and stock organization, ensuring optimal levels and minimizing waste.
Help maintain and TGI Friday's brand standards, service quality, and operational procedures.
Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are consistently followed.
Act as a point of contact for guests, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Monitor financial performance, including sales targets, labor costs, and profitability, and report to General Manager.

Qualifications:

Experience in the restaurant industry, ideally in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
Excellent communication skills, with a focus on guest service.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to details and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Basic understanding of financial management, including cost control, budgeting, and reporting.
Experience with POS systems and staff scheduling software is a plus.
Passion for food, beverages, and hospitality, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Completion of the Kunnskapsprøven in Alcohol Law is a plus.
Fluency in English is required, and Norwegian is a plus.
