About the job

As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving sales of advanced separation technologies---including membranes, decanters, and separators---primarily within the Food & Water sectors in Norway. You will be part of a dynamic Nordic sales team focused on delivering cutting-edge Separation Solutions. In this role, you will work closely with the Market Area Manager, the broader sales team, and cross-functional departments, to ensure seamless customer engagement and solution delivery.

Key Tasks

As an Inside Sales Engineer, your role is focusing on remote customer engagement. While direct customer visits are minimal, you will work in close collaboration with the Area Sales Manager in Norway to ensure a seamless and effective sales process. Your main responsibilities include:

Drive Sales from the Office: Follow structured sales processes to promote and sell Alfa Laval’s Separation Solutions---primarily through remote channels such as phone, email, and digital platforms.
Develop Tailored Technical Proposals: Create precise and compelling technical quotations that address customer needs, emphasizing the unique value of our solutions. Ensure timely and proactive follow-up.
Provide Expert Support: Act as a key point of contact during the quotation phase, utilizing internal technical resources for solution sizing and selection.
Communicate Value Clearly: Translate complex technical information into clear, customer-focused messaging that highlights the benefits and advantages of our offerings.
Utilize Digital Tools Strategically: Leverage CRM and other digital tools to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and support the execution of the sales strategy.

What You Know
You bring a technical mindset and commercial acumen, with the ability to build trust-based relationships and drive results.

Engineering degree (or near completion)
Experience in technical sales or the Food & Water industry (advantageous)
Ability to create precise technical quotations and solutions
Skilled in CRM and digital tools for sales analysis
Professional proficiency in English and either Danish or Norwegian
