What might a day as an Accounting Assistant look like at Miki Travel Oslo?As an Accounting Assistant, your main responsibilities will be handling incoming supplier invoices. Your day often starts with receiving and reviewing the details of invoices, such as verifying amounts, and making sure they're properly matched to purchase orders or internal approvals, and contacting the supplier if anything looks incorrect or unclear. Then you'll enter and organize financial data in our accounting system, ensuring everything is registered accurately and on time for further handlings.
During the day, you might support the finance team with follow-ups. You'll play an important key role in keeping our financial routines running smoothly by handling day-to-day transactions to assist with monthly closings and reconciliations.

Review, save and organize invoices.

Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery confirmations.

Upload and prepare invoices for approval and payment in our accounting system.

Communicate in English with both suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies, as well as internal colleagues.

Support with general accounting administration, including archiving and maintaining accurate records.

Help improve and maintain efficient finance routines and workflows.

Miki Travel is a B2B only Tour Operator. Our office is responsible for the Nordics, and we help travelers from the Asian market to experience the best of the Nordics. As an accounting assistant for Miki Travel Oslo, you will play an important role in supporting our finance routines, especially handling invoices and assisting with daily accounting tasks. This role is a permanent 80% position with the possibilities of extensions.
