SFO Assistant

About the position

We are currently seeking SFO (after-school care) assistants who can contribute to the development of SFO at BISS Gausel and BISS Sentrum. The two positions are part-time, 0% (supply). 
Working hours are:
Afternoons -14:45 to 16:45 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 14:00 to 16:30 Wednesday afternoons
School holidays - ; 07:30-16:30 during the holidays periods in February, June, August, and October.
SFO is closed in the school holidays at Easter, Christmas and for the month of July.
The positions are available for immediate appointment.

We reserve the right to interview and appoint before the closing date.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Implementing SFO activities as directed by the SFO leader
• Contributing to the planning of the before and after school SFO activity programme
• Working alongside SFO team members during the school term and some school holidays
• Communicating effectively with the children, the school administration and parents

Qualifications and experience

• Relevant experience in an educational setting
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Able to create good relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Good English skills, both written and oral (B1 minimum) 
• Experience working in an international environment 
• A proven record of organising activities for children
• An ability to take initiative and contribute to the development of SFO
