Supplier Quality Inspector

For our Client we are looking for a Supplier Quality Inspector who can join their multicultural team in Bergen, Norway . The position is responsible for Inspection and monitoring of suppliers in the area to ensure conformance to necessary regulatory, industry, customer, and Company requirements as they pertain to either products or services provided.

Job Description
Role and responsibilities:

• Never to compromise Safety and Quality and to stop an operation when safety and Quality are at risk
• Onsite and Remote Inspections at Suppliers in the area for different activities; Welding, NDT, FAT, FI, etc. and timely reporting for each Inspection
• A high degree of personal interaction is needed to challenge and effectively improve current practices at suppliers and internally.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of product requirements and communicate quality requirements and initiatives.
• Recognize impact of decision on product quality.
• Collaborate externally with Clients and suppliers, internally and globally with other regions when required

Some travel is expected.
