The concept is both a hand craft bakery with its own cafe with fresh lunch meals, where at 15:00 Hevd is taken over Pizzeria , and the busy lunch place turns into a pulsating pizzeria. Our concept is plain and tasty dishes in grounded surroundings, the main focus of the restaurant is to have the perfect Italian pizza, and multiple delights such as pasta, meat and fish dishes for the evening.

As an employee at Hevd Torget, you can expect an international environment where you are part of a larger team. English is the primary language at work, but its a big plus if you have a proficiency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language to communicate effectively with guests.

We are looking for a chef who is responsible, passionate about food, and able to maintain high standards even during busy shifts. We value team players who take their work seriously, understand the importance of good collaboration, and help maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times.

About the position:

1 x permanent chef position from beginning of June (160 hours per month)

1 x seasonal chef position (June-September) from beginning of June (160 hours per month)

Tasks:
  • preparing food from the menu

  • following HACCP-req. and dayily routines

  • production and MEP

  • cleanliness in the kitchen

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food according to recipies and instruction

  • Control of your section and food dockets

  • Preparing food in time with other chefs / collaboration

  • Following dayily routines

Qalifications:
  • Able to speak and be understood in English

  • Good ability to mulitask thru reading dockets, preparing food and communicate

Personal requirements
  • thrives on working in a hectic work environment

  • service minded

  • works structued and tidy

  • high work ethic

  • have good collaboration skills

We contact current candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis. For good candidates, you will be invited to a trial job. The trial job will be held at Hevd Torget.

Om bedriften

Oktober 2019, åpnet Hevd Håndverksbakeri på Torget. Med norgesmester Emanuele Spreafico i spissen tar vi hevd på det beste fra nordisk og italiensk bakerhåndverk. Her er det mange bord og lun caféstemning -- perfekt for frokost, lunsj, kaffe, møtemat og bakervarene du tar med hjem.

Vi er en del av Fratigruppen og har drevet restauranter i Trondheim siden 1973. For oss er det to ting som er viktig. At gjestene har det bra i restaurantene våre, og at våre ansatte har det bra på jobb. Du bør like å arbeide i et hektisk miljø og være i stand til å håndtere stress godt.
