In the Small and Medium Merchant segment of Vipps MobilePay we aim to simplify the merchant experience. We want to be as loved by businesses as we are by private users!

That is why we're seeking a talented developer to join our KYC team, where we are focusing on ensuring that we meet our regulatory demands relating to AML & KYC, whilst also ensuring that dealing with KYC is hassle free for our users, merchants and internal teams.

About the role:
You will be working in a central part of Vipps MobilePay where the focus is making a world class experience for both our merchants and the teams within VippsMobilePay who work with KYC & AML. The team has responsibility for creating, developing and owning the product strategy for KYC, ensuring we meet our regulatory standards without placing unnecessary burden on our users and merchants. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk, compliance, operations and design to ensure we meet the needs of the teams who are working with KYC internally.

Your academic background in tech, engineering, or a similar field is key. So are your English skills, both written and spoken, to enable seamless communication across teams and locations. For this position we require that you have previous experience with our tech stack or equivalent. The team's responsibilities are heavily tied into the backend written in Golang running on containers in Azure. Being familiar with SQL will be very helpful to thrive in the current environment and at the moment there is a few internal web facing screens that are written in React.
