As Chief Financial Officer at Munu, you will lead the company’s financial strategy and operations, playing a pivotal role in enabling revenue growth, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring long-term financial health.

This is a senior leadership role with broad scope and real influence. You’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team to strengthen decision-making, support scaling, and build financial structures that enable international growth -- without slowing the business down. Your Mission

• Thrive in scale-up or growth environments where structure is still being built and refined

• Bring hands-on experience with cash flow management, financing, and working capital optimization

• Have built, implemented, or improved financial systems, and understand how technology can drive insight, efficiency, and control

• Fluent communication skills in English are required, and proficiency in one or more Nordic languages is mandatory

Experience from SaaS, technology, or international growth companies is a strong advantage. What You’ll DoEnable Revenue Growth and Profitability

Enhance company-wide decision-making with timely, accurate, and actionable financial insight. You’ll automate reporting, introduce real-time dashboards, and establish performance metrics tied to revenue and profitability. These insights will be used to refine pricing, guide prioritization, and align teams around shared growth goals. Cash Flow Management and Securing Financing

Ensure healthy cash flow and liquidity to support Munu’s growth and operational stability. You’ll optimize cash conversion cycles, manage receivables and payables, and secure external financing or alternative capital when needed -- always aligned with long-term strategy. Financial Reporting

Own the quality, structure, and cadence of financial reporting. You’ll deliver transparent, trusted reporting aligned with both internal decision-making and external requirements, with a clear focus on revenue, profitability, cash flow, and risk. Operational Efficiency and Cost Management

Drive operational efficiency through proactive cost control and smart investment decisions. You’ll review staffing and operating costs, identify working capital improvements, and help the business balance speed with discipline. Strategic Financial Planning and Forecasting

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the company. Using data-driven models, you’ll support resource allocation, scenario planning, and risk management -- and run monthly and quarterly reviews that create accountability and adaptability. Financial Structure and Compliance for International Expansion

Build scalable, compliant financial structures to support international growth. You’ll work with advisors on tax, regulatory, and FX matters, establish local banking structures, and create repeatable playbooks for new market entry. Team and Leadership Development

Build and lead a high-performing finance team with both technical excellence and business understanding. You’ll create clarity, develop talent, and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What Success Looks Like

• Munu has clear financial visibility across the business -- leaders understand revenue drivers, margins, cash flow, and trade-offs when making decisions

• Financial data is trusted, timely, and actively used to prioritize initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities

• Cash flow is predictable and well-managed, giving Munu the confidence and flexibility to scale without unnecessary risk

• Forecasting and budgeting are practical tools for planning -- not theoretical exercises -- and are used to hold teams accountable

• Costs are managed with discipline and intent, without slowing down innovation or growth

• International expansion is supported by scalable, compliant financial structures that reduce complexity and risk
