Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
What will you be doing?

Establishing and developing job cards for prefabrication, installation and testing of piping, pipe supports and inline equipment

Preparing estimates based on agreed norms for piping‑related activities

Communicating closely with other discipline personnel, prefab coordinators and workshop operators

Supporting efficient execution through clear work instructions and good coordination
We think you should have:
-
Relevant technical education or trade certificate as welder, sheet metal worker, plumber or similar

Extensive experience from piping construction and/or field execution
-
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment

Good general IT skills
-
Experience with piping design or construction is an advantage

Software skills: MIPS and E3D are beneficial
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, relevant experience may compensate for formal education

You communicate well in English and Norwegian
