Due to high activity InflowControl is seeking a Business Development Manager in Stavanger to drive commercial growth and strengthen our position in the global energy market.

Founded in 2011 in Porsgrunn, InflowControl is a world-leading technology company in the field of inflow control. With our award-winning and patented Autonomous Inflow Control Valve (AICV®) and reservoir management technologies, our vision is to change the oil industry to become more sustainable and cost-efficient. Headquartered in Porsgrunn, we have R&D, engineering, laboratory, and manufacturing facilities, as well as eight offices across five continents. The company currently employs around 60 people and is entering an exciting growth phase.

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth in the region. You will gather market intelligence, build strong customer relationships, and work closely with internal teams and partners to deliver successful commercial results.

You bring a structured mindset and analytical approach to problem solving, and you excel at building strong customer relationships that deliver lasting value.

With us, you will have the opportunity to:

• Drive marketing, sales, and commercial activities to achieve revenue growth in the region.

• Plan, execute, and monitor business development initiatives in collaboration with regional and global team.

• Develop forecasts and performance updates in line with company processes.

• Work closely with partners to secure new business opportunities and successful project execution.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term cooperation.

• Contribute to tenders and quotations (ITT/RFQ) with commercial and technical input.

• Represent InflowControl at conferences and industry events through presentations and publications.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a relevant higher education in disciplines such as Petroleum, Reservoir, Geosciences or Mechanical Engineering.

• Has solid technical background in Well Completions or Reservoir Engineering, and has a good technical understanding of offshore wells applications.

• Is commercially minded, entrepreneurial, analytical, and results-oriented.

• Possesses strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Is a collaborative team player who builds trust and fosters partnerships.

• Is structured, efficient, and capable of executing plans to completion.

• Is flexible and willing to travel internationally.

Previous commercial or business development experience is an advantage; however, candidates currently in a technical role with an interest in transitioning into a technical-commercial position are also encouraged to apply.
