As our new Area Sales Engineer, you will drive electrification and grow service sales -- turning customer needs into long-term partnerships. You'll combine technical insight with commercial drive to win new customers, grow existing accounts, and convert installed-base opportunities into recurring service revenue across Norway. What you'll do
- Own pipeline, proposals and closing -- delivering order intake and margin targets.
- Grow installed-base service revenue (inspections, preventive maintenance, upgrades/refurbishments and spare parts).
- Prospect and develop new accounts; lead customer meetings and site visits, and follow up fast.
- Be the trusted technical advisor to customers, partners and consultants -- translating needs into strong solutions.
- Coordinate internal experts (engineering/service/operations) to secure technical scope, pricing and delivery plans.
- Work structured in Salesforce and contribute with market/competitor insights.
- Engineering background (electrical/mechanical or similar) + 3-5 years in technical B2B sales.
- Experience from industrial equipment, ports, automation, electrification, or related technical environments (an advantage).
- Commercial, consultative seller who enjoys winning and building long-term relationships.
- Clear communicator in Norwegian and English; confident presenting technical solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Structured way of working and comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).
- Self-driven and flexible, happy to travel.
- A high-impact role in a global cleantech company accelerating electrification and decarbonization.
- Autonomy and ownership in your territory -- backed by strong technical and operational support.
- A portfolio with real installed-base potential and long-term customer relationships.
- Professional growth in an international organization with a purpose-driven culture.
Practicalities: Location is flexible in Norway. Frequent travel within the territory is expected (approx. 50%)
