Sales Consultant / Gallery & Shop Assistant

A small gallery and art shop in the historic Bryggen area in Bergen is looking for a reliable and motivated person to join the team for the summer season.

The gallery presents original artworks, graphics and selected art products created by the artist David Matej Goljat. Visitors come from all over the world, so the work involves interacting with people, presenting the artworks, and assisting visitors in a friendly and professional way.

We are looking for an organised, responsible and engaged person who enjoys working with people and can work independently in a small gallery environment. There is also a possibility for longer-term collaboration.

Requirements

• good command of English + one additional language. Knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage, but not required

• interest in art, culture or design is an advantage

• reliability and a positive attitude towards work

• experience in sales or customer service is an advantage

Only applicants who already have the necessary documents and legal right to live and work in Norway will be considered.
