Work Tasks

You will enjoy a varied workday, contributing to projects and product development. You'll balance the need to meet project deadlines while laying a solid foundation for future innovation. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation, working closely with scientists and engineers to professionalize development practices and enhance programming best practices across the organization.

Competency and Experience:

• Master's degree or a PhD in mathematics, natural sciences, or a related field.

• Minimum of two years of experience as a developer or data scientist.

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in Python or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis.

• Knowledge of software engineering principles, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, data modelling, error handling, refactoring, and design patterns.

• Experience with basic software architecture, including user interfaces, databases and APIs.

• Strong background in mathematics and statistics.

• Familiarity with algorithms, vectorization, computational optimization, and data visualization.

• Experience with machine learning techniques.

• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes and/or other cloud platforms and technologies.
