Senior Planning Analyst

The planning team at Helly Hansen is responsible for connecting customer demand with supply decisions, enabling the business to deliver with greater agility while creating clearer alignment across Commercial, Product, Finance and Supply Chain within Helly Hansen. We are an integrated planning function with end-to-end ownership of forecasting, supply, and inventory processes for the whole company, serving as the central hub for alignment and decision-making.

The Senior Planning Analyst will be working as an Anaplan model builder and assist in designing and delivering key planning models and reporting tied to Helly Hansens strategy and priorities. The role bridges business processes, reporting and technical planning requirements and improvements. Some key deliverables of this function include creating dashboards and reports with relevant data insight so planning scenarios, forecasting and analytics can be efficiently processed and informed decisions can be made to contribute to the growth of the business.

Key responsibilities:
  • Anaplan modelling and architecture with the objective of supporting planning and forecasting processes for various functions.
  • Bridge planning and forecasting initiatives to the wider business utilizing relevant data, tools and systems to generate insights for decision-making.
  • Develop, maintain and improve dashboards to provide visibility of current performance and future trends.
  • Ensure highest levels of data accuracy, data integrity and data governance.
  • Contribute in improvement-projects from a technical standpoint.
  • Ensure data is presented in a digestible format and timely manner to allow users to make data-driven decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant functions to design and implement planning dashboards and conduct analysis to answer challenging business questions.
  • Maintain and oversee dataflows in HH Anaplan application, ensuring smooth operations and high reliability.
  • Promote user’s adoption of Anaplan through documentation and support.
  • Look for operational and technical improvement opportunities that can drive positive change at our company.
What we are looking for:
  • 2-4 years of hand-on experience developing, maintaining, or enhancing Anaplan models.
  • Certified Anaplan Model Builder (Level 2) required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance.
  • Experience within retail is a plus, but not required.
  • Good understanding of Planning and Forecasting processes and systems.
  • Process and systems orientation, with focus on continuous improvement of tools and workflows.
  • Critical thinking and analytic orientation, solid understanding of statistics.
  • Data visualization skills (experience in SAP BusinessObjects, Tableu, PowerBI or similar visualization tools) is considered a plus but not a requirement
  • Great English and/or Norwegian verbal and written communications skills to effectively work with teams, vendors, and clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and/or Norwegian.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for innovation, process improvement, and delivering results.
