About the roleThe Business Controller will work for the Nordics business of Mediq, supported by the Business Service Center of Mediq in Vilnius. The Business Controller works in the Nordic Finance team with colleagues in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
Being at the heart of the Finance organization of Mediq Nordics, the Business Controller has a key role in the transformation process to increase operation effectiveness and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:-
Plan, perform and improve the performance cycle including the budget process, quarterly forecasts and monthly reporting

Prepare Monthly reporting to Mediq Nordics management and Mediq Group

Analyze, report and drive improvements on liquidity management

Review financial information and key financial ratios, conduct cause analyses and propose possible correction measures

Finance representation in various projects, aimed at increasing profitability and/or operational effectiveness

Involvement in potential acquisitions and/or divestments

University degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Economics

5+ years of experience in an analytical Finance role required

Excellent skills in MS Office (Powerpoint and Excel) and experience with BI tools (e.g. MS PowerBI). Preferably experience with IFS and/or Cognos Controller

Ability to oversee complex cross functional processes and make clear recommendations to the management team

Functional competencies as financial planning, modelling and accounting

Strong analytical skills and data-driven strategic mindset

Positive and pro-active mindset with a passion for financial analysis

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Norwegian and English)
