As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for several Field Engineer - Piping for an exciting project at Stord .

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Assisting production with resolving technical issues during fabrication and installation

• Supporting production with interpretation of drawings and work basis

• Preparing work basis and technical clarifications (TC) in collaboration with Fabrication Engineering

• Delivering high‑quality work on time according to project procedures

• Maintaining close communication with FIL, method, fabrication engineering, PRE and other stakeholders

• Contributing to continuous improvement efforts

We think you should have:

• Experience as a field engineer, preferably from Aker Solutions

• An active, solution‑oriented mindset

• Strong experience within piping

• Good knowledge of 3D tools and MIPS

• Bachelor’s degree or technical college; relevant construction experience may compensate
