Crunched is building the world's most powerful AI analyst for strategy and corporate finance workflows. Already used by professionals at BCG, Nordover Capital, Insead, Harvard, Explore, Arkwright, Connaught, and Placepoint.

Our technical team transforms human analyst and consultant workflows into secure, scalable, autonomous AI systems that operate directly inside Excel -- where half of the world's business decisions are made.

We're backed by YC and have raised 55M NOK in seed funding November 25. After months in San Francisco, we're now building our engineering HQ in Oslo -- and we're hiring the first senior engineers who will shape the core of our product, stack and team.

What you'll do

• Build and ship production-ready autonomous workflows used by analysts, investors and operators

• Own end-to-end delivery: architecture, code, infra, performance

• Work with agents, LLMs, durable execution and high-stakes data flows

• Push code daily in a team where speed, precision and product thinking matter

• Work closely with founders and customers to turn feedback into shipped features

• Shape our stack, patterns, engineering culture and future hiring

Who you are

You're a top-tier generalist engineer with a strong track record of building real products fast. You thrive in intense environments, take responsibility naturally, and want to be part of a small founding-like team.

You're likely:

• Deeply comfortable with Python, TypeScript, React and Postgres

• Have built LLM-powered applications, ideally agent systems

• Strong at system design and durable execution

• Obsessed with shipping and feedback loops

• Motivated by ownership, risk, and outsized upside

• In a life phase where you can prioritize a high-intensity build phase

If you don't have agent experience but are a very strong fullstack engineer with experience from major product companies, we still want to talk to you.

This role is 5 days per week on-site in Oslo with the rest of the core team.
