As our company expands, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to our continued success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform concept and detail design -- apply creativity and innovation to develop new ideas and concepts, taking projects from initial vision to complete design

• Prepare drawings and engineering documentation in accordance with KF internal guidelines and relevant standards

• Prepare and hold Design Reviews for products and components as required

• Provide engineering support to internal and external stakeholders

• Support assembly and testing of equipment at sub-suppliers and KF workshops

We are looking for candidates with:

• Creative and innovative mindset

• Self-disciplined and self-motivated

• Team player

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

• Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD systems

• Experience from the oil and gas industry is preferred, but not a necessity

• Practical, hands-on experience is an advantage

• Excellent Norwegian and English communication skills - written and oral
