Innovate, Design, Lead --- Become Our Next Automation / Senior Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Automation / Senior Engineer to join their team for study-phase Oil & Gas projects. This role is ideal for an engineer with solid experience from both greenfield and brownfield developments on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, who thrives in a collaborative and multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design automation solutions for study-phase Oil & Gas projects, both greenfield and brownfield

• Act as Automation Lead for study projects when required

• Define, specify and design automation and SAS systems

• Develop philosophies, system topologies, I/O budgets and system descriptions

• Produce documentation including Cause & Effect diagrams (C&E), SCDs and HMI sketches

• Participate in and facilitate discipline meetings, workshops and technical reviews

• Manage interfaces between disciplines, contractors and clients

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or relevant field

Required Experience

• Minimum 6 years of automation engineering experience in greenfield Oil & Gas or HVDC projects

• Minimum 4 years of experience with automation and SAS/ICSS system design and reviews

• Minimum 6 years of automation engineering experience from brownfield projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf

• Experience from FEED or study-phase projects

• Strong knowledge of standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNVGL and IEC
