At Vipps MobilePay, we make things very, very simple -- for people, businesses, and their customers. Now, we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of one of our biggest strategic initiatives: Mobile Point-of-Sale -- a super-simple cash register app for mobile and tablet.

But this isn’t just about one product -- it’s about building a seamless experience across all our business offerings. We need someone who sees the bigger picture, connects Mobile POS with other key products, and ensures that what we build truly solves the right problems in the right way.

You’ll be hands-on with design, working with the Mobile POS team to test, iterate, and refine the product. At the same time, you’ll play a strategic role, helping shape how our business products fit together and create value for businesses.

🎨 Hands-on design work -- refining and improving the Mobile POS experience as the product scales.
🧩 Shaping UX strategy -- ensuring business products are connected, intuitive, and aligned with the company’s vision.
🎨 Leading and facilitating UX processes -- making sure teams move efficiently from problem to solution.
🔍 Driving user insight -- getting out in the field to talk to users, test ideas, and validate decisions.
🤝 Collaborating with product & tech teams -- solving the right problems, the right way.
💡 Mentor and work closely with other designers -- sharing your expertise to elevate design and product excellence across teams.

• Experienced -- You have solid senior experience in product design (UX/UI) and love simplifying complex challenges.
• Confident in leading design processes -- You know how to structure, facilitate, and guide teams toward effective solutions.
• Not afraid to challenge ideas -- You speak up, ask tough questions, and ensure we make the right decisions for users and the business.
• Both hands-on & strategic -- You enjoy detailed design work but also think bigger than a single product, ensuring UX feels seamless across our multiple business offerings.
• Strong cross-functional collaborator -- You work comfortably with senior developers, tech leads, designers, and product managers, influencing both design and product strategy.
• Supportive of others -- You enjoy mentoring and guiding fellow designers, fostering collaboration and growth in an informal but impactful way.
