Main roles and responsibilities for the position:

· Responsibility for the efficient and effective operation of assigned ships.

· Handle all aspects of operations and technical maintenance.

· Visit the assigned vessels regularly for inspection and maintain close contact with crew

· Responsible for ship refits/dry-docking within agreed budgets.

· Responsible for emission reporting, MRV, DCS, ETS etc.

· Budget management for assigned ships.

· Ensure the company Safety & Environmental Protection Policy is maintained.

· Member of technical department contingency task force.

Experience and competence requirements:

· BSc in Marine engineering or senior officer sailing experience

· Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience

· Fluent in English -- spoken and written (working language is English).

· Good communication and organizational skills: Tactful and diplomatic.

· Experience with planned maintenance systems (CMS/PMS/CBM).

· Familiar with applicable maritime rules, regulations, and industry requirements.
