An exciting opportunity has arisen as Head of Global Class & Documentation in our Global Customer Support Division. In this role you will own, control, and provide strong support and direction to ensure that all barriers/roadblocks are challenged and removed to allow the smooth operation of the global workshop teams. You will deliver quality service in line with expected service level agreements, including establishing meaningful performance indicators. You will also drive collaboration between our Global Workshops, Aftermarket Project Sales and Technical support functions.
We are looking for someone who is structured, self-driven and who likes and promotes collaboration. You will join a committed, knowledgeable, and positive team that supports each other. We always aim to find solutions in the face of new challenges.
Key accountabilities- Act as a representative towards classifications societies.
- Be our link between the technical department, production, planning and classifications societies.
- Develop and standardize processes for our global service workshops.
- Technical background or experience from the maritime industry
- Experience with technical specifications as classifications and documentation work is an advantage
- Norwegian and English fluency, both verbal and written
- Some travels are required in this role
