About Omny
At Omny, we capture relevant information for customers running their operations and establish and support cybersecurity-related workflows. We are building up a team of engineers that will be responsible for onboarding customer data, including integrations to source systems such as firewalls, network sensors, CMDBs, ERP systems, customer documents including network diagrams, and more.

Objectives & Responsibilities

We are developing an agentic AI system that enhances discovery, automation, and decision-making in complex IT/OT environments. As a Software Engineer working on the AI team, you will design and implement autonomous systems and capabilities that interpret data from multiple sources, orchestrate workflows, and support cybersecurity and operational subject matter experts. You'll also develop the agent harness itself: sandboxing for untrusted code execution, file system access, tool integration, and the infrastructure that makes autonomous agents safe and controllable. This is an engineering role focused on building reliable AI systems, not statistical modelling or research. You'll work closely with subject matter experts and end users to understand their needs and shape the product. We're a small team where you'll have direct influence over both what we build and how we build it.

The ideal candidate has an can demonstrate experience with many of the following:

Skills

• Coding, preferably in Typescript and Python

• Familiar with modern full-stack web development (Svelte, React, Vue etc)

• Experience with the Effect Typescript library is a plus

• Communication and critical discussion of ideas

• Data quality, including understanding the semantics of data models, data lineage, etc

• An interest in code quality, creating robust and maintainable code

• Experience with LLMs is a bonus

• Strong analytic skills

• Is a committed team player

Qualifications

Demonstrate skills as at least B.Sc in computing science

Interests

• Interested in a start-up environment in a flexible and rapidly evolving organization

• Interested to learn about cyber security in industrial control systems
