As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for:Engineer - Method - Structural experience in onshore or offshore projects.
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
What will you be doing?-
Develop and maintain construction methods and work sequences

Prepare constructability documents and support HSSE-friendly design
-
Contribute to project scheduling and ensure methods are reflected in the schedule
-
Participate in design reviews with a focus on constructability
-
Lead and organize meetings when required

Involve project team members in the development of construction methods

Provide input to lessons learned and suggest improvements to routines and procedures

Collaborate closely across Method, Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Construction Engineering, and Construction teams

You are fluent in Norwegian and English

Solid understanding of construction work processes within the relevant discipline

Minimum 2 years’ experience with EPC processes in Topside, Facilities, or Renewables projects

Software skills: NAVIS, ProArc, E3D, PDMS, MS Office 365, Method Planner, Visual Construction Planning, Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Aveva E3D Design, Constructability Engine, and MIPS

Technical or Bachelor’s degree - Lack of education can be compensated with relevant work experience
