Associate Management Consultant (0--3 years’ experience)

We are looking for an associate consultant to join our team. You’ll support client engagements through analytical work, strategic communication, and ongoing dialogue with both team members and clients.

As a consultant with Abyrint, you will:

• Support project teams with day-to-day analytical work and problem-solving.

• Perform data analysis using Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros/VBA.

• Build and maintain models and tools for strategic analysis, reporting, and decision-making.

• Support the preparation of client-ready presentations and recommendations by turning data and insights into clear, structured outputs.

• Collaborate with colleagues in Oslo and other locations to support project execution.

• Travel to challenging and interesting locations is expected.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a degree from an analytically challenging program--- whether in economics, physics, or sociology isn’t all that important, the key is that the program is analytically demanding.

• May have some work experience (e.g., in consulting or other high-performance environments), though this is not required.

• Has strong Excel skills and is comfortable building analytical models to support data-driven insights.

• Can recognize problems, define issues, connect the dots, and bring structure to ambiguity.

• Is socially adept and able to engage respectfully across diverse cultural, social, and religious contexts.

• Thrives in a globally distributed team and identifies as a global citizen.

• Has the right to work in Norway.
